Vetset alleviate foam
Alleviate Hydrophilic foam dressing is a trilaminate construction where edges of the dressing are sealed by a unique technique to ensure the dressing acts as a reservoir of wound exudates which cannot leak laterally upon saturation of foram or compression.
The Alleviate dressing is made of a 4.5mm soft thick and elastic polyurethane foam, sandwiched between an outer most breathable polyurethane film and wound contacting perforated polyurethane film. The three layers of the dressing work together to ensure presence of moist environment at the wound site, high absorption capacity and longer wear time therefore reduced frequency of dressing change. The wound contacting perforated film prevents adherence to the wound allowing removal without pain or trauma. It also regulates the fluid absorption of the dressing. The outermost polyurethane film is highly breathable to allow absorbed exudates to evaporate. This increases the extends the fluid handling capacity of the dressing. Each dressing is individually sterile packed to assist in correct aseptic dressing application.
